- PhD in Geology from University of Oslo (UiO) 1987. Research Scientist in SINTEF from 1988 to 2005. Founded Abalonyx AS in 2005 and co-founded Graphene Batteries AS in 2012. Graphene Batteries was sold and re-branded to Morrow Technologies AS in 2020, and Abalonyx’ technology was sold in 2021 and re-branded as LayerOne AS. In April 2023 SHIFT Materials AS and Lithium267 AS were established. Shift Materials with the aim to develop LFP and LMFP for the European market and Lithium367 with the aim to recycle BM from LFP and NMC mixed BM. Both companies are based in Oslo with labs in the Oslo Science Park.
