- Rasmus Blomqvist is Managing Director of Grafintec Oy, a 100% Finnish subsidiary of Beowulf Mining plc, and has over 20 years of experience in the natural resources and critical raw materials sectors, with a particular focus on graphite and battery value chains in Europe. He leads Grafintec’s development of a sustainable graphite anode material value chain in Finland, spanning natural graphite resource development and the planned development of an anode materials production facility to supply battery-grade graphite to the European market. Rasmus has extensive experience in mineral exploration and corporate leadership across the Nordic region. He has led projects from early-stage exploration through resource definition and technical studies, including Grafintec’s discovery and advancement of one of Europe’s largest natural flake graphite resources. Rasmus holds an MSc in Geology and Mineralogy from Åbo Akademi University and an Executive MBA from Aalto University.
